Discover Hallstatt beyond the crowds on a relaxed small-group bike tour through one of Austria's most spectacular lake and mountain landscapes.Starting directly at Steeg-Gosau railway station, we'll follow the quieter shores of Lake Hallstatt towards Obertraun and Hallstatt.

Along the way, enjoy beautiful views across the lake, regular photo stops and local stories as the famous village of Hallstatt gradually comes into view.We'll pass through underrated Obertraun at the foot of the Dachstein mountains before continuing towards Hallstatt. In the village, we'll slow things down and explore by bike and on foot, with time to take photos, look around or stop for a drink.After visiting Hallstatt, we'll continue our journey around the lake.

Depending on group ability, weather, traffic and local conditions, your guide will choose the most suitable return route, with the possibility of completing the full scenic circuit back to Steeg-Gosau.The tour lasts approximately 3.5–4 hours and covers up to approximately 24 km with around 220 metres of elevation on the full route.

This is a sightseeing experience by bike rather than a performance-focused cycling tour. You should be comfortable riding a bicycle and have a reasonable basic level of fitness, but no technical cycling skills are required.Your bike and helmet are included, and the pace is relaxed with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery along the way.
